Operations

There During
Every Step

Initial Separation & Settling In:
We encourage orientation visits to our centre to familiarise both children and parents before the first day.  The separation anxiety to both children and parents is quite a normal feeling that may continue for a while and parents are welcome to stay as long as possible.
We suggest that before the first day of attendance, you explain to your child about our Early Learning Centre and the wonderful, happy times they will have there.  If you have any apprehensions or are unsure of what to do, please talk to one of our staff.

Arrival & Departure:
We have electronic sign and and out at our centre and parents need to do this at drop off and pick up
If you require another person (not named on your Enrolment Form) to collect your child in an emergency, please contact the Centre to make arrangements, the new contact person must show PhotoID for identification purposes.

Weekly Fees & Payment Procedures:

Childcare Subsidy may be available to you.  Please ask at Reception about the procedure for claiming CCS

An enrolment fee of $25 is payable on enrolment and is non-refundable and includes a free bucket hat.

Fees are payable  weekly or fortnightly and must be  two [2] weeks  in advance. An initial payment during the first week, then for the first three [3] months it is a requirement of our centre that all fees are to be paid via either Direct Debit payment system.  Parents can then choose to remain on one of these options or pay fees using our Efptos machine located in the front foyer.
Our centre DOES NOT accept CASH /CHEQUE or AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS. Fees are payable for SICK DAYS and PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, and two weeks notice is required for family holidays to claim the 50% Holiday Rate.
Cancellation of care requires two weeks written notice.

Child Care Subsidy

Child Care Subsidy [CCS] is a subsidy provided by the Commonwealth Government to approved long day care Early Learning Centres, [Kindergartens] family day care schemes, registered carers, outside school hours care programs and occasional care services.  This subsidy is then used to reduce the amount that parents are required to pay to the centre.  Parents may apply through their local Family Assistance Office on 136150 and quoting our provider number which you can obtain from the nominated supervisor.

Child Care Subsidy are based on each family’s income and the onus is on each family to ensure they have a current Assessment Notice in order to receive the benefit.  Full fees will be charged if you do not have a current assessment.  In order to receive Child Care subsidy, parents must sign each child in and out every day they attend care.  On return to the centre after any absences, parents also must sign the attendance sheets indicating a reason why the child was away to ensure that Child Care Subsidy is given during the absence. It is also important that the centre has the child's Customer Reference Number as well as the Parents Reference Number to enable the centre to link the child to Centerlink.
